Day 2

FULL DAY: NIGERIAN ARTS & CULTURE TOUR

Join us for an enriching day excursion that delves into the heart of Nigerian art and culture. This excursion promises a day filled with artistic inspiration and cultural discovery.

​Our journey begins at the Lekki Arts and Crafts Centre, where you'll explore and shop a vibrant array of handmade crafts and souvenirs

Visit the Kalakuta Museum, the former home of the legendary musician Fela Kuti, offering a fascinating glimpse into his life and legacy. 

Explore the Ni-ke Art Gallery, one of Africa's largest art galleries, showcasing stunning works by Nigerian artists. Wear traditional Adire costumes, experiencing the beauty and craftsmanship of this iconic Nigerian fabric.

NIGERIAN COOKING CLASS EXPERIENCE

Experience the vibrant flavors of Nigeria with our immersive cooking class. Under the guidance of a skilled local chef, you'll learn to prepare traditional dishes such as jollof rice, pounded yam, and egusi soup, using fresh, authentic ingredients. This hands-on class promises a memorable and flavorful adventure and perfect for beginners!

Day 4

COFFEE MAKING & POTTERY CLASS

Morning: Pottery Class
Begin your day with a pottery class led by skilled local artisans. Learn the techniques of molding and shaping African pottery. 

Afternoon: Coffee Making Class Let's shift gears under the guidance of an experienced coffee roaster. Learn about the different varieties of Nigerian coffee and other country regions, the roasting process, and the art of brewing the perfect cup.

Day 5

BADAGRY SLAVE & HERITAGE MUSEUM
Start your day with a visit to the Badagry Slave Museum by speed boat, located in one of the key ports of the transatlantic slave trade.

Learn about the capture, transportation, and lives of enslaved African ancestors and the strength of those who suffered through it. Highlights include the "Point of No Return," a significant landmark where enslaved people were taken to awaiting ships.

LEISURE DAY AFTER GIVE-BACK MORNING AT SCHOOL ORPHANAGE

Let's end our trip in gratitude with a volunteer day at a local orphanage school. Here you'll have the chance to give back by putting a smile on children's faces as you participate in their daily and school activities!

  • All package rates are based on double occupancy two people sharing therefore you will be paired with another solo traveller.
  • Flights to and from the trip destination is not included in the package cost and must be arranged individually by participants. We provide a complimentary service for flight search to all our travellers
  • To secure your spot on this unforgettable adventure, a deposit of $250pp is required to confirm your reservation, and the remaining balance to be paid in monthly instalments from the dates stated.
  • Health and Safety: Your well-being is our priority, and we will adhere to all necessary health and safety guidelines during the trip. We recommend participants to have travel insurance that covers medical emergencies and trip cancellations (recommendations to be provided after sign up).
  • Cancellation Policy: All payments are non-refundable however transferrable to other trips at latest 12 weeks before travel.
