Join us for an enriching day excursion that delves into the heart of Nigerian art and culture. This excursion promises a day filled with artistic inspiration and cultural discovery.

  • ​Our journey begins at the Lekki Arts and Crafts Centre, where you'll explore and shop a vibrant array of handmade crafts and souvenirs
  • Visit the Kalakuta Museum, the former home of the legendary musician Fela Kuti, offering a fascinating glimpse into his life and legacy. 
  • Explore the Ni-ke Art Gallery, one of Africa's largest art galleries, showcasing stunning works by Nigerian artists. Wear traditional Adire costumes, experiencing the beauty and craftsmanship of this iconic Nigerian fabric.

NIGERIAN COOKING CLASS EXPERIENCE

Under the guidance of a skilled local chef, you'll learn to prepare traditional dishes such as jollof rice, pounded yam, and egusi soup, using fresh, authentic ingredients. COFFEE MAKING & POTTERY CLASS

Morning: Pottery Class
Begin your day with a pottery class led by skilled local artisans. Learn the techniques of molding and shaping African pottery. 

Afternoon: Coffee Making Class Let's shift gears under the guidance of an experienced coffee roaster. Learn about the different varieties of Nigerian coffee and other country regions, the roasting process, and the art of brewing the perfect cup.

BADAGRY SLAVE & HERITAGE MUSEUM

9:00 AM. - 5:00PM
Start your day with a visit to the Badagry Slave Museum by speed boat, located in one of the key ports of the transatlantic slave trade.

Learn about the capture, transportation, and lives of enslaved African ancestors and the strength of those who suffered through it. Highlights include the "Point of No Return," a significant landmark where enslaved people were taken to awaiting ships.

CHRISTMAS IN THE MOTHERLAND!

Spend the day as you please. We recommend a spa day in your hotel! A favorite of most of our travellers!

In the evening, we depart Lagos for Accra!

GIVE-BACK DAY AT SCHOOL ORPHANAGE

Let's give gratitude by giving back on the first day of the year, with a volunteer day at a local orphanage school. Here you'll have the chance to give back by putting a smile on children's faces as you participate in their daily and school activities!
