Q: What inspired the creation of this black travel group for solo women?
 We recognize the need for a supportive  community that celebrates and empowers black women in solo travel, fostering connections and shared experiences. Embark on worry-free adventures with our group trips designed exclusively for solo travelers! How can I join the Tin Trips black travel group?
 Joining is easy! Visit our website, select your destination of interest and pay your deposit to join your trip and to become a part of our vibrant community! Your trip confirmation will follow, breaking down your payment plan and dates, along with the next steps for the Tin Trips onboarding process!

Q: Is the group exclusive to black women, or can anyone join? 
Whilst being advocates for of uplifting all women,  our group trips are for melanated, black women. We have created this concept, specifically with black women in mind, to provide more opportunities to immerse in luxury and unique experiences as they network and travel with one another.

Q: Can I bring a friend?
Yes absolutely. You are welcome to bring a friend or family. Those travelling with each other will be paired together as room mates.

Q: Are black men welcome to join?
We have a selection of co-ed trips, that welcome both men and women.

The rest of our our destinations, are solely for black women.

Q: How does the group address safety concerns for solo travelers? 
Safety is paramount. We share resources, tips, and collaborate with experienced tourism vendor professionals in each destination. Our local teams' priority is to ensure the well-being of our travellers during their travellers whilst ticking off their bucket list! 

Q: Can I connect with other travellers before embarking on the group travel meet up?
Absolutely, as stated in all the outlined packages. You will attend  two zoom calls, one for travel prep and the other for group introductions, to meet all those joining the trip. Following this will also be a Whatsapp group chat to use for communication prior to, and during your trip.

Q: How does the group support diversity in travel destinations? 
We strive for a diverse range of travel experiences, ensuring our members have the opportunity to explore various regions and cultures worldwide. Our destinations are a selection of various continent regions including, Africa, Asia, Europe and The Caribbean

We prioritize creating a space where solo travelers feel empowered and connected therefore for each trip, each traveler will attend a zoom travel prep call with us, and second zoom call for group introductions to meet those joining your trip.
